STEP
#1
Place
Safety
in
the
"ON"
position,
pull
back
charging
handle
and
carefully
inspect
chamber
to
be
sure
rifle
is
unloaded.

STEP
#2
Unscrew
take-down
screw
labeled
A
and
B.
See
photo
for
locations
of
screws
and
holes.
Lift
barreled
action
from
old
stock.

STEP

Unscrew
trigger
group
retaining
screw
labeled
C.
CAUTION:
SECURE
THE
FLANGE
NUT
WHILE
REMOVING
SCREW
TO
PREVENT
LOSS.
Lift
trigger
group
from
old
stock.
Flange
nut
must
be
inverted
for
use
in
new
stock.

STEP
#4
THIS
STEP
FOR
CLIP-FED
RIFLES
ONLY.
The
oval
recessed
area
in
the
bottom
of
the
stock,
just
forward
of
the
trigger
assembly
opening,
must
be
removed
to
allow
use
of
clip.
Nylon
stock
material
is
easily
filed
with
most
common
woodworking
tools,
drills,
files,
etc.
Remove
recessed
oval
with
your
choice
of
tools.

STEP
#5
Place
the
trigger
assembly
in
your
new
Marlin
Fiberforce
Stock.
NOTE:
Snug
fit
is
intentional.
Reinstall
screw
C.

STEP
#6
Snap
the
upper
forearm
onto
the
barrel.
|
|
STEP
#7
Slide
the
forward
portion
of
the
grip
downward
approximately
1
inch
and
remove
the
screw
stored
inside
the
grip.

STEP
#8
With
the
handguard
in
place
on
the
barreled
action,
align
the
front
tabs
of
the
stock
to
the
front
slots
of
the
handguard.
Continue
to
match
tabs
and
slots
until
top
handguard
seats
with
stock
and
barrel
assembly.
Push
receiver
down
into
stock
completely.
Start
the
new
cone-shaped
8/32
screw
(the
one
removed
from
the
grip)
through
hole
B
in
grip
behind
trigger
area.
DO
NOT
TIGHTEN
YET!
Because
this
screw
passes
through
the
hole
in
the
rear
of
the
trigger
assembly,
it
may
be
necessary
to
loosen
screw
C
at
front
of
trigger
area
to
ease
installation.
Install
and
tighten
take-down
screw
B.
DO
NOT
OVERTIGHTEN
THIS
SCREW.
Be
sure
all
screws
are
snug.
Overtightening
may
cause
screws
to
strip
or
damage
rifle.
